TITLE VI POLICY STATEMENT 

The West Alabama Regional Commission (WARC) is committed to the compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Civil Rights Restoration Act of 1987, and all related rules and statutes.  The West Alabama Regional Commission assures that no person or group(s) of persons shall, on the grounds of race, color, age, disability, national origin, gender, or income status, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under all programs, services, or activities administered by the West Alabama Regional Commission, whether those programs are federally funded or not.

Title VI Notice - Notifying the Public of Rights Under Title VI West Alabama Rural Planning Organization (RPO)

The RPO operates its programs and services without regard to race, color, and national origin in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act. Any person who believes she or he has been aggrieved by any unlawful discriminatory practice under Title VI may file a complaint with the RPO.
